Beer 174: St. Martin Tripel

I find it incredibly strange that I often mix up olives and mushrooms when thinking about them as ingredients in a meal. I love them both -- you would think that wouldn't happen given my affinity for them.

It's been a long week and I have nothing else to add.

Tonight's beer is St. Martin Tripel from Brasserie de Brunehaut.

It poured a hazy amber with a full white head with staying power. It smells lightly of apricots. It is sweet but has a bite. Definite alcohol burn (9% ABV). Finishes with a peppery feeling. I'd call it average.

Cheers!
